Lina Arena-DeRosa: DIRECTOR

Lina

Lina Arena-DeRosa has lived in Holliston for over 20 years with her husband and two sons.  Her professional background includes running a Congressional Office and directing a Small Foundation. She has been the Senior Center Director since the fall of 2005 and has focused on increasing the Center's town wide visibility and fundraising while developing new numerous ongoing and special programs.  She encourages seniors to stop by her office to offer ideas for new programs or just to say hi. She enjoys gardening, reading, and cooking.

 

Linda Marshall: OUTREACH and TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

Linda

Linda Marshall’s 25+ years of experience as a social worker and Counselor at Milford Regional Hospital and at other skilled nursing/rehab facilities serve her well both as Outreach Coordinator and as Transportation Coordinator.  Whatever services seniors and their families need, her knowledge of available resources help her to provide them with the appropriate information, referrals, and application assistance.  Her understanding of senior needs guides her oversight of the Center’s Transportation Program.  Of all Linda’s hobbies, her favorite is working with crafts.  She shares her talents by adorning the Center and teaching a monthly class.  Central to all Linda does - professionally and personally – is her commitment to the seniors of Holliston.


Ginger Moody: OFFICE MANAGER

Elizabeth Moody has lived in Holliston for 45 years with her family and assorted pets.  After working many years in corporate America, she now works part time at the Holliston Senior Center as Office Manager. Her responsibilities include helping set up volunteer opportunities, coordinating day trips, coordinating the newsletter folding and helping wherever needed at the Center.  Her interests include reading, cooking, gardening, painting and handwork.







Greg Doherty and Mike Westerman: VAN DRIVERS

Bus drivers for the Senior Center

Our two van drivers, Greg Doherty and Mike Westerman are CDL Licensed and annually trained by the MarTap Training Program. Greg has lived in Holliston for over 45 years and owned his own gas station until he retired 10 years ago.  He has been a van driver for the Holliston Senior Center for over 7 years.  Mike, who has worked with seniors for many years,  has lived in Franklin for over 28 years and joined the Center two years ago.  He also drives the famous Duck Boats of Boston when he is not helping us here at the Center.
