Message from the Board
Welcome to the Holliston Council on Aging (COA). Our 40 year history dates back to a Town Meeting vote held on July 1, 1971. To comply with Massachusetts General Law, Holliston residents voted to establish a Council, comprising 13 members and appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Today, Council members continue to provide advice and counsel to the Selectmen while serving in an advisory and coordinating capacity to the Senior Center Director.
The Council’s mission is “to identify and serve the diverse needs of all Holliston citizens 55 and older.” Working toward that end, we assist in delivering programs and initiatives that shape and enrich the experiences of three generations of older adults. For specific information on each, please visit our multiple listings.
We also invite you to attend our COA meetings held at the Center on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:30PM. Our agenda now includes a section called “Public Comments.” We look forward to seeing you and welcome your input.
