Instructor: Donna Blumenau has been teaching at the senior center since 2005. Her mother taught her to both knit and crotchet at the tender age of five and she has been passionately knitting ever since. Donna finds knitting very fulfilling, making ita daily part of her life and she is happy to share her experience with people of all abilities.
Description: The knitting/needlework class at the Senior Center is a drop in program for all who enjoy knitting, crotcheting or other needle type work. The class size is unlimited; beginners and experienced needle workers are welcome to join. All work on their individual projects in a friendly atmosphere, sharing ideas and helping with problems. The supplies needed are yarn, needles and your personal project . If needed, the Center has additional needles, and a variety of yarns and patterns are available for your use. These Friday sessions have ended with many beautiful projects and lasting friendships.
